Functions and Duties

The Information Security Magazine of the Government Cipher Committee provides in-depth coverage of the field of security and information safety. The magazine published its first issue in 2006, under the press operation license No. 45/GP-BVHTT dated March 31, 2006, issued by the Ministry of Culture and Information (reissued with the printed press operation license No. 1022/GP-BTTTT dated July 11, 2011, by the Ministry of Information and Communications).

- To disseminate and popularize the policies and laws of the Party and the State, as well as those of the Cipher sector, in the field of security and information safety, serving state management activities, scientific research, implementation, application, and training in the field of security and information safety; To report on activities, introduce scientific and technological achievements, and present new products in the field of security and information safety both domestically and internationally; To exchange theoretical knowledge and scientific-technological research results in the field of security and information safety.

- To disseminate the guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and the State regarding cipher activities and the political tasks of the Vietnamese Cipher sector; To exchange political theory, professional knowledge, and experience in the sector’s activities.

- Leaders and managers at all levels and sectors related to the field of information and communication technology.

- Scientists, researchers, lecturers, and individuals interested in the field of security and information safety across the country.
